Your Passion, Your Plan!
They Lead To Your Future.
Planning for your future is a pretty big deal. Maybe you're thinking about college, or planning to get a head start by earning college credits while still in high school. Or maybe your goal is to land a successful career right after graduation. Whether you've thought about a job helping others, being your own boss or turning a hobby into a career, you have a lot of choices to make.
You can start making those choices now – and planning for your future today – through the Career and Technology programs available at TISD. These programs are designed to give students a glimpse into the future, to help you find your passion and discover your talents.
You'll take specific classes in your area, as well as gain experience in that field, either on campus, at a place of business or through specialized work programs at Tyler Junior College. Think of it as a test drive – while still in high school – to see if a career is right for you.
If it is, great. You're one of the lucky ones. If not, try something new. And if you have no idea what your passion really is, we can help with that, too. We have some tests you can take to see where your interests and talents lie. Then, when you're ready to take the next step, and turn your dreams into a real future, we'll help you enroll in the courses that are best for you.
Career and Technology Education covers seven areas. Your passion is definitely covered in one of them. Go ahead and look over the courses of study. Check out the awesome careers, and the salary ranges that go with them.
